A Loyola Law School graduate, Mark has been a Rising Star Super Lawyer, Super Lawyer, Top Attorney Pasadena and Top American Attorney 16 times in his 22 years of practice.

Lauded for his keen litigation skills, and has achieved multi-million dollar settlements in numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations in both federal and state courts, as well as in Singapore for international business disputes.  Yet he is equally renowned for his creative settlement solutions that are often more beneficial than "winning the lawsuit."

Mark is a distinguished author on trade secret and unfair competition litigation with the Daily  Journal, and has served as a legal expert for KNX Radio.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys wine-tasting, reading historical novels and commissioning custom liquors for his fledgling online distillery, Westakow's Fine Spirits.  As if spirited legal sparring isn't enough, he also enjoys participating in full-contact karate tournaments.
